Shawna’s career in fitness began when she taught her first kickboxing class in 2002 and realized her passion for helping people get in shape in a fun and energetic environment! Since then, she has earned certifications through ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) and AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and is a full time personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She specializes in weight loss, meal planning, sports nutrition, fitness boot camps, and overall lifestyle planning and coaching. Whether your goal is to lose 100 lbs, train for your first marathon, or get on stage for your first figure competition, Shawna’s background and experience can help you get there! Her goal for every new and existing client is to educate them on how to reach their personal goals in and out of the gym, and maintain them for life! When Shawna is not at the gym, she is usually outside wakeboarding, snowboarding, playing sand Volleyball, traveling, running red rocks, or hiking with her husband and 3 dogs. Shawna’s energy is contagious and she will motivate you to succeed and push yourself to the limit in a fun and challenging personal or group training session!
